We’ve all overheard conversations—while walking down trendy streets in the world’s tech capitals—about a product’s great “UX” or a website’s poor “UI.”

Web development refers to building, creating, and maintaining websites. It includes aspects such as web design, web publishing, web programming, and database management. Although the terms “web developer” and “web designer” are often used interchangeably, they do not mean the same thing.

Digital marketing is the promotion of products or services using digital technologies, primarily on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium.

"Art director" is the title used for a variety of similar roles in theater, advertising, marketing, publishing, fashion, film and television, the Internet, and video games. It is the sole responsibility of the art director to oversee and unify the creative vision.

Interaction Design (IxD) is the design of interactive products and services in which a designer’s focus extends beyond the product being developed to include the way users will interact with it.
